NOA1315 is a clear liquid adhesive that cures when exposed to long-wave ultraviolet light. It is recommended for glass-to-glass bonding and also bonds well to cellulose acetate butyrate. NOA1315 cures under UV or visible light from 320 nm to 450 nm. Full cure requires 6 joules /cm2 of energy. If the adhesive is exposed to air during curing, oxygen inhibition occurs. To overcome this inhibition, cure in an inert environment such as nitrogen. When used as a coating, the liquid adhesive must be kept below 9°C to avoid vaporization.
