NOA13775 Low Refractive Index Optical Adhesive

Product Description:
---- Low-refractive-index (1.391) UV adhesive, recommended for glass-to-glass bonding; also adheres well to cellulose acetate butyrate.

pic

NOA13775 is a clear liquid adhesive that cures on exposure to long-wave UV. It is recommended for glass-to-glass bonding and also adheres well to cellulose acetate butyrate. NOA 13775 cures under 315 UV or visible light from 315 to 450 nm. Full cure requires 6 J/cm2. When used as a coating it shows oxygen inhibition; to overcome this, cure in an inert environment such as nitrogen.

Customer applications have proven this adhesive suitable for producing and assembling fiber-optic combiners. Fiber-optic combiners are key components of fiber lasers; they use double-clad fiber and require a Norland low-refractive-index adhesive to coat the fiber. With its suitable viscosity and low refractive index, NOA13775 meets the requirements for producing and assembling fiber-optic combiners.
