Overview:
NOA1504 is a clear liquid adhesive that cures under long-wave UV light; suitable for glass-to-glass bonding with good adhesion to cellulose acetate butyrate. Cures at 315–395 nm UV; full cure: 3 J/cm². Oxygen inhibition when used as a coating; cure in an inert atmosphere for a tack-free surface. For glass bonding, NOA 1504 withstands −15 to 125°C.

NOA1504 Application Examples:
NOA1504 suits liquid crystal (LC) blending.
Also suitable for LC blending: NOA65 but NOA1504 may offer better LC compatibility.
Liquid crystal blending mixes two or more LC monomers and additives uniformly into a blended LC material with specific properties, optimizing overall performance to meet LCD panel requirements — a key step in LCD technology.
Purpose & Significance of LC Blending:
Performance optimization: single LC materials are limited; blending combines the strengths of different monomers for superior overall performance.
Cost reduction: expensive high-performance monomers can be partly replaced by cheaper, similar-performing ones without sacrificing performance.
Diverse needs: blending recipes can be flexibly adjusted for different application scenarios as display technology evolves.
